The visual and mechanical properties of the Planar CarbonLight VX Series are favorable for cinema and television as on-camera background scenes. The displays are an excellent complement to green screens and can be easily implemented into XR stages for extended reality.

The wide color range, narrow pixel pitches, and high and fast frame rates provide excellent visual performance in person and in the picture. Viewers can comfortably watch from as close as 3m (10ft) without seeing individual pixels.

Venue Versatility

Features thin, square (500x500mm) carbon fiber frames. Lightweight brackets allow for quick setup and tear down. Individual cabinets can be removed and installed anywhere without disrupting the overall layout, with front-side installation making module extraction simple.

Video Wall Features:

• Hang, stack from the ground, or wall mount
• Beveled edges can create 90-degree corners
• Alignment pins ensure the video wall is flat
• Facet cabinets for concave or convex walls

Camera & Colour Compatibility

Advanced Genlock capabilities ensure synchronization with a variety of cameras. Compatible with typical frame rates between 24Hz and 144Hz, virtually eliminating common video recording challenges.

Offers a wide colour spectrum including Rec. 709 and DCI-P3, and is ready for High Dynamic Range content with support for both HDR10 and HLG formats.
